Why Many Teens Prefer Invisalign® in Roseville

Many teens who need orthodontic treatment prefer Invisalign for a few key reasons, including:

  • Discretion: Invisalign and Spark aligners are virtually invisible, which is essential for many teens.
  • Removability: Teens can remove their aligners to eat and clean their teeth, which means no eating restrictions and more productive brushing and flossing.
  • Comfort: Invisalign is made of smooth plastic instead of brackets and wires, which many patients find more comfortable.

If Your Teen Needs Orthodontics, Invisalign May Be the Solution

Invisalign can correct a wide range of mild to moderate orthodontic issues, including:

  • Bite Misalignment (Overbite, Underbite, Crossbite)
  • Crooked, Crowded, and Overlapping Teeth
  • Gaps or Unusual Spacing Between Teeth

The first step is a comprehensive consultation in our dental office. At this visit, we assess your child's teeth to help ensure that Invisalign will achieve the desired or necessary results. We encourage you to ask questions during this consultation, and we will let you know what to expect and how long your teen will be in treatment.

If your child moves forward with treatment, we take impressions of their teeth and send the results to an Invisalign lab. The lab fabricates their aligners and sends them to our dental clinic. When you come in to pick them up, we'll show your child how to wear them and discuss how often they should change to the next set in their series.

At the end of treatment, we provide a custom retainer to help prevent orthodontic relapse. According to Invisalign and your dentist, it's crucial to wear this retainer as directed. Always call our dental clinic if you have questions during and after treatment.

In some cases, for severe orthodontic issues, we may recommend traditional braces instead.
